Choose how many people you're covering and how you'd like to be billed. Next you'll confirm and pay, then tell us what to remove and sign the authorization. Nothing is charged until you confirm.
What happens after you join
Most of the work is ours. You may occasionally need to click a confirmation email a site sends you, and California residents who use DROP verify their residency once with the state.
Step 1: You tell us what to remove and sign one page
List the names, addresses, phones and emails to cover (never your SSN or ID numbers), then sign a limited power of attorney naming us your authorized agent. It authorizes us to file opt-out and removal requests for you, including deletion requests where your state's law provides them.
Step 2: We file the requests
We file opt-out and removal requests with the people-search sites and data brokers we work with, then follow up on the ones that stall.
Step 3: We re-check and keep you posted
We re-check your listings and re-file when one comes back. You get email updates: removal requested, not present at last check.
WipedMe is not a consumer reporting agency. Nothing we provide (removal records, status updates, or broker correspondence) may be used for any FCRA-regulated decision (credit, employment, housing, insurance, tenant screening). We act as an authorized agent only for you and for household members who sign their own authorization.
